Farm by the River Bed and Breakfast has been in business for 18 years and have had horses as a part of the business for 16 of the 18 years. Now they have 18 horses.
As the town of North Conway may change and grow, remarkably the Farm by River still has its outstanding property of 70 acres along the Saco River with panoramic mountain views and horses frolicking about the landscape.

We have enjoyed seeing people for the first time as romantic couples, have even introduced a few who have gotten married, or have been married here, and seen them back with their children- we look forward to seeing their grandchildren as adults.
The Farm by the River was featured on the Cover of this NH Hospitality Guide, 2001, shows the white lights around Christmas time. Charlene does white light sculptures of up to 30 feet during this festive time. Christmas tree in both the common rooms.

Things have changed in the inn with private baths added, Jacuzzis and fireplaces, Wi-Fi, but Rick and Charlene, the owners and staff are the epitome of hospitality
The Farm by the River has had many artists and writers stay with them.
The property inspires Plen Aire Artists and writers alike. Charlene has an art and landscape architecture background and the couple enjoys hosting artists and writers. Rick and Charlene had a great ride with Andrea, testing out their newly bought Belgian drafts on the trail with her.

Charlene and Rick have made many friends along the way- Martin, an avid mountaineer who has visited here over 30 times; Rich and Charity and Liz , who hang out with us in the off season; little Amelia and her parents, Dan and Mimi-Amelia, our special little friend of 10 going on 21 who loves horses and our dog, Heidi and the staff at our stables; the Faidels, who come every year at Christmas to stay and take one of our Polar Express Packages.
These wonderful people keep Rick and Charlene loving what they are doing. It’s not how big or whether you have linoleum or tile in the bathroom but your connections to these wonderful people that makes it a joy to run and B and B and likewise for all the people who come back year after year.
