This owner- owned and operated stables offers the most scenic trail ride in the Mount Washington Valley- on 70 scenic acres with panoramic mountain views. This is a guided walk-only ride.The equestrian stables have 20 resident horses and is surrounded by views of the White Mountains of New Hampshire and located 2 miles from downtown North Conway.
The Ride: On a family estate dating back to 1771, the guided , walk only trail ride winds through meadows and mixed maple and evergreen forest, and along the Saco River. Riders enjoy panoramic mountain views of Mt. Cranmore, Kearsarge, nine miles of the Moat Mountain Range, Cathedral and White Horse Ledges.
This is an owner-operated stable. The horses are selected for soundness and good temperament and are cared for and trained by experienced wranglers all year round. This helps to make this a fun experience for all.

Our guests selecting one of our lodging packages wake up to a full breakfast served on the patio deck & watch the wranglers round-up the horses. A parade you can’t miss! We have a variety of horse from Halflinger ponies to 19 hand draft horses. We select the horse to match the person’s age, weight and abilities: from draft horses such as Belgians and Percherons, to quarter horses.

One Hour Horseback Rides.$55/ride- This is a guided, walk only, trail ride.
*Inn guests receive $10 off/ horseback ride.
Departure Times: 10 & 11:30 am & 1pm, 2:30, & 4 pm. this is a weather permitting activity
You must arrive 30 minutes before your departure time for all rides . If the riders show up late and the ride has gone out, the charge will be charged.
Horseback Riding Requirements: Age, Weight & Health Requirements: Horseback riders must be 8 years old and up. For safety reasons the horseback rider, should be strong enough and healthy enough to be able to get on and off the horse with minimal assistance and be able to control their horse. Pregnant women are not allowed to horseback ride.
There is a weight restriction of 235 pounds for the rider. If in doubt, the rider will be weighed. If the rider is over this limit, this misrepresentation in weight will result in forfeiture of payment. Please wear closed in shoes- no flip flops.
Cancellation Policy for Horseback rides /carriage rides and wagon rides- A 5 hr. cancellation policy applies. If you do not cancel prior to 5 hours your credit card will be charged. When in doubt about the weather please call us 1/2 hour before your ride. We do not cancel rides based on the weather forecasts as they can often be incorrect or not area specific. We will tell you if it is possible to go out. If we decide it is unsafe to go out your card will not be charged. If you arrive and do not want to go out at the last minute you will not be refunded as you reserved your space.
Groups of more than 5 people- a 24 hr. cancellation for horseback rides. If you have a change in the number of people riding, you must call with this information within the cancellation period otherwise we will charge your card (unless we can fill the empty space). If you do not call within the appropriate time period your credit card will be charged.

Wagon Rides -spring-until snowfall; Depart : 10 & 11:30 am & 1, 2:30, & 4 pm by advanced reservation. Approx. 30-40 minutes long. $60 minimum to take out a wagon ride. $20 -12 years and up; $12 children 3 to 12 years. Holds up to 12-14 people.
Pony rides -$18 offered until snowfall by appointment. Must be 3 yrs of age.
Cancellation for Wagon, Sleigh and Carriage rides - We have a 5 hour cancellation policy, for more than 8 people we have a 8 hour cancellation policy applies.

Horseback Rides- Approx. 50 min.long Departure time: 10 & 11:30 am & 1 pm, 2:30 pm and call for 4pm rides-they are available until it becomes too dark to go out- Late fall and early winter. $55
Sleigh Rides Schedule: Hot chocolate & blankets provided.

Be a barn buddy, learn about horses, have some barn fun, take a pony ride, receive a gift from the Farm by the River and play with our pet goats Max and Freckles.
Children must be 6 years and up. Its about 1 hour of fun -the barn fun and 1 pony ride (15 min.) is approx. Participants receive a horseshoe gift from the Farm: $45.
If the child is over 10 years old, a 1 hr. horseback ride can be substituted for a pony ride and they will receive an $18 credit towards a horseback trail ride (1 hr.) This would be a fee of $70. (Approx. time 1 and 1/2 hrs).
