There are numerous recreational on-site activities available at this country inn. Anytime of the year inn guests can enjoy the 70 scenic acres with panoramic mountain views from the inn and grounds as well as the Saco River.
Spring, Summer and Fall Fun:
In the warmer seasons inn guests can take a horseback, carriage, wagon or pony ride; relax in the garden (a designated ” Wildlife Habitat” from Wildlife Federation) and enjoy the birds and flowers in the garden while watching our horses; take a walk through Maple Sugar stands, or go swimming in the Saco River. Kids can play with a pair of our Dwarf Nigerian goats. See our Winter-guests can take a sleigh ride or horseback ride-even in winter- or snowshoe from the inn.

At the Farm by the River Bed and Breakfast, each room is uniquely decorated with family heirlooms in a classic New England style providing old world charm with modern amenities. This country inn has nine lovely units with king or queen beds and private baths, free WiFi and parking and A/C. Some rooms have jacuzzis and/or fireplace and/ or TVs. We also have two- 2 room suites available for 3-5 people- perfect for a family or 2 couples.
Included with your stay at the inn: A full country breakfast is served outside on the patio deck overlooking the gardens, horses and mountains in the warmer seasons. Edible flowers are garnish our plates seasonally. In the cooler season breakfast is served inside by the fireside and afternoon refreshments, complimentary on-site, snowshoeing and discounts for the stables. skiing and tubing, restaurants and area activities.

Inquire about Cowgirl Workshops and Getaways in June and September. Workshops: 3 to 5 days including riding lessons, ground communication, horse care and trail rides. This is for beginners and intermediate.
